(ASE:IMI).

Several years later, when he was President of TGL and IMI (pursuant to a Joint Operating Agreement . . Intermark owned 48% of Triton Group) the companies were merged and a year later the combined company went into default of its sub debt indentures.  Stiska then took the combined company through a Ch 11 Reorganization, emerging as Triton Group Ltd. (ASE:TGL) of which he was appointed CEO.  As holding companies, IMI and TGL controlled several other public companies including Pier 1 Imports (NYSE:PIR)Fuqua Industries (NYSE:FQA)Mission West Properties (ASE:MWP) and Ridgewood Properties, Inc. (ASE:RPI).  Privately held 100% owned subsidiaries of TGL included Continental Graphics, Simplicity Pattern Co., Liquor Barn, National Airmotive, Western Metal Lath and others.  Post Ch 11, the 100% owned private companies were refinanced, then both the public company holdings and the refinanced 100% owned private companies were all sold over a period of four years.

Upon completion of the Intermark/Triton Group merger, reorganization and sale of holdings, Stiska was invited to join Qualcomm, Inc., (QCOM) as Senior Vice President Corporate and Managing Director of its Technology Applications Group.  After two years at Qualcomm he spun out the Digital Cinema Division into a separate joint venture company.

Next he raised capital and was a Co-Founder of Commercial Bridge Capital, LLC, a private hedge fund that made secured bridge loans; a venture lending business.  Over a period of 7 years CBC made 43 investments in emerging tech companies.  During that period, Regent Partners was formed to deal with other firms providing investment and debt capital outside the scope of CBC's charter.

After the founding of Regent Partners, Stiska had continued to serve on a number of private and public company boards, including Jaycor Network Inc. (NASDAQ:JNIC) of which he became CEO and then Chairman until the company was sold.  He then became CEO of PepperBall Technologies which he reverse-merged into a public company (OTC:PBAL) and then sold off the law enforcement division.

Prior to going into the corporate world, he practiced law as an Associate and then Partner at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps before Co-Founding Aylward, Kintz & Stiska as the Chair of its Corporate and Securities Dept.  Aylward, Kintz & Stiska merged into and became the San Diego office of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, shortly after which time Stiska left the practice to take Intermark and Triton Group through the Chapter 11 Reorg.  During his fundraising for Commercial Bridge Capital, he was Of Counsel to Latham & Watkins.
